David is the founder of Pulp Riot and the award-winning, eco-friendly Butterfly Loft Salon and co-founder of Ubungalows Salon Suites and Butterfly Circus. Known worldwide for teaching industry professionals how to build and run successful salons and salon suites, also offering social media consulting services to owners and stylists alike. His personal and business pages have over 650K followers. Prior to entering the beauty industry, David was a managing consultant in the San Francisco offices of Navigant Consulting, an international litigation consulting firm.

Stockton, Calif. native Iris has been creating masterpieces as a licensed stylist since 2006. A salon owner and certified L'Oréal Professionnel balayage artist, Iris is known for balayage techniques, creative color and insane color corrections. She is a co-owner and stage artist for Pulp Riot, where she teaches internationally.

Stephany Smith

As a freelance makeup artist and licensed hairstylist, Stephany Smith specializes in vivid color, color corrections, extensions, and transformations. Constantly striving to stay on top of changing trends through education, she has completed several Master certification programs all over the country, and is the Creative Director and Senior stylist/MUA for Parlour e.lev.en Salon as well as a double nominee for the Behind the Chair OneShot awards. A member of the Pulp Riot Riot squad, Stephany travels the country teaching classes and performing at hair shows.

With a backbone in education from Vidal Sassoon, Jamie Gomez’s precision cutting and color theory stays classically edgy. Jamie is a Behind The Chair OneShot winner for “precision of the year” 2016. As member of the Pulp Riot Riot Squad, Jamie travels and educates at shows and classes internationally. With several certifications in both color and cutting techniques, Jamie is constantly staying relevant and on top of changing trends through attending advanced education. Her challenge to clients, “Leave it in the hands of our mad scientist, you’ll be delightfully surprised”

Kelly O’Leary

Known for her unique use of vivids and pastels paired with a vintage aesthetic, Kelly O’Leary knew from a young age that doing hair would be her career and passion. “I was the teenager that colored her hair green in the basement. The hair industry gave me a home and a family.” Owner of The Sapphire Hair Lounge in Winnipeg, Kelly teaches independent classes on vintage styling and just this past year began teaching vivid color classes using Pulp Riot. “I love meeting new people and sharing ideas. I respect educators that are honest and relatable, and I want to be that for people that attend my classes.” Her advice to young stylists, “That it will get easier. And it will be hard and take many years of working hard and putting yourself out there, being available. But it is 100% worth it.”
