Matty Conrad is recognized as one of the top men’s grooming experts in North America and is the Canadian barber of the year for 2018. After almost 25 years in the hair industry with numerous successful salons and creative team positions in his wake, his passion for technical haircutting and a strong admiration for his grandfather drove him to open a world class barbershop. Victory Barber & Brand was opened in 2010 to critical acclaim and an avalanche of international press. It has been called one of Canada’s best barbershops by multiple publications, and recentlt named one of the top 50 in the world. Conrad himself was even named “Coolest Barber on Instagram” by Details and GQ magazine. He has also been awarded several of the top honors for men’s hairdressing in North America including Canadian Men’s Hairstylist of the Year in 2014, Canadian Hairstylist of the Year Fan Favorite 2015, and Behind The Chair’s coveted Big Shot Award for Men’s Shot of the Year 2015. Borrowing from both traditional barbering and modern men’s hair styling, his own style of heritage barbering has put him at the vanguard of men’s grooming in North America and around the world. He has been recognized globally as a pioneer of “New Market Barbering” and is regularly called on as a grooming expert for a multitude of trade and mainstream magazines. In 2017 Matty took another leap forward and launched Victory Barber & Brand Products. A styling range designed for men that has gained substantial notoriety in men’s grooming circles and has been lauded by some of the top men’s artists and celebrities around the world. Matty’s unbridled enthusiasm for sharing his wisdom, experience, humour, and passion for our industry has made him a mainstay in front of classrooms and industry show stages around the globe.

At the young age of 14, Mark Bustos discovered the power of human interaction through his passion for cutting hair. That’s why he has dedicated the last 19 years, not only developing and honing his craft, but sharing his talents all over the globe with clients such as his own brothers and cousins to fashion designer, Phillip Lim, NASCAR Driver, Jeff Gordon and even 8-year old Isabella, living on the streets in the Philippines. As Mark travels to different cities to give back, Mark has also earned himself a styling chair in some of the most prestigious salons in America, including Oribe Salon in South Beach, Miami and RamirezTran Salon in Beverly Hills, CA. In October 2017, Mark has been awarded for his Humanitarian efforts at the highly acclaimed Intercoiffure Gala and nominated as Educator of the year at the Behind the Chair 2017 Stylist Choice Awards. He also attained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Kean University. As the founder of the #BeAwesomeToSomebody Charity/Movement, Mark has humbly given a new meaning to being compassionate by giving free haircuts to the homeless every Sunday, all around the world. Not only has this inspired family, friends, hairstylists and strangers all over the world to help those in need, Mark is able to meet new people and be moved by their stories simply by doing what he loves. Mark has recently been featured in The New York Times, CNN, ABC World News, Forbes, Huffington Post, GQ, Details Magazine, Vanity Fair, People Magazine, and many more. The #BeAwesomeToSomebody Movement has also received international acclaim in several publications across Europe and Asia, notably the Philippines, which is both where his family is from and where the #BeAwesomeToSomebody Movement was born.

Pope The Barber was born and raised in Los Angeles, Ca. 12 years in the industry and her passion has led her to where she is now; an international barber and platform educator as well as barber shop owner of VTCN Barbershop (VATICAN) in Santa Ana, California. The creative culture of LA and everywhere she has traveled internationally broadened her neotraditional skills as she applies all of the various techniques she’s learned world wide to her craft. She is now one of the most well known female barbers in the world and hopes to spread her energy and passion for the industry through continuously learning and educating.
